Received the Professional Builder Apartment Management Achievement Award and the NAHB RAM of the Year Award.

Graduate of Tulane University School of Business Administration, where he graduated as class valedictorian and student body president. Listed in Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who in Real Estate, Who's Who in Finance and Industry and Who's Who in Sales and Marketing.

All proceeds from his speaking engagements are used to fund philanthropic activities, including the annual Emerging Stories Fellowship of Storytelling Arts of Indiana and various programs at the Indianapolis Art Center, the Phoenix Theatre, the Herron School of Art and Design, Southeast Neighborhood Development (SEND), the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Indiana Historical Society, etc.

One of his topics, as well as one of his hobbies, is travel and he is a member of Travelers' Century Club, an organization of people who have traveled to at least 100 countries.
